256, 4.S. and 4T. Temple band and Cap (See 256, 4.P)
POSITION:
Head: 4.S. around forehead and temple; 4T over crown of head.
DIMENSIONS:

DESCRIPTION:
4.S:
A sheet-gold temple-band, held in place by means of
a ribbon tied in a bow at the back of the head./<(>See photo -
'in situ')
4.T:
This temple-band held in place a skull-cap of fine
cambric-like linen, worked upon which an elaborate
uraei device in <minute> blue and red glass and gold beads. (See photo).
In the centre of each uraeus (4 in number) are cartouches in of
thin gold of 'Aten'; viz: [ 𓂀 ] (See note and photo).
Remarks:
The fabric of the skull-cap ho has decayed & fallen away
leaving only the bead-work device upon it.
