Explore Tutankhamun's tomb through the excavation records of Howard Carter and his team in the 1920s

All of Howard Carter's archaeological journals for Seasons 1 to 9 have now been published (https://tutankhamun.griffith.ox.ac.uk/journals-and-diaries). 

Howard Carter’s lecture notes from public talks on the discovery of Tutankhamun’s tomb (TAA i.12), as well as Arthur Mace’s account of the lifting of the sarcophagus lid on 12th February 1924 (TAA i.2.1.149-58  (Mace's account of the lifting of the sarcophagus lid and notes on some objects)) have now been published.

The scientific notes for chariots (TAA i.3.8 (chariots)), chemistry (TAA i.3.9 (chemistry)), and materials (TAA i.3.17 (materials)) have now been published.
