Explore Tutankhamun's tomb through the excavation records of Howard Carter and his team in the 1920s

Howard Carter’s lecture notes from public talks on the discovery of Tutankhamun’s tomb (TAA i.12), as well as Arthur Mace’s account of the lifting of the sarcophagus lid on 12th February 1924 (TAA i.2.1.149-58  (Mace's account of the lifting of the sarcophagus lid and notes on some objects)) have now been published.

The scientific notes on boats (TAA i.3.1), the bow-case (TAA i.3.3), calcite (TAA i.3.4), canopic equipment (TAA i.3.5), gold (TAA i.3.14), and objects found between the sarcophagus and the shrines (TAA i.3.28) have now been published.
