Hinged at the back, on each side of the symmetrical bow are two broad
curved appendages (decoration like fillet) having on their front edge
a massive gold chased and inlaid uaeussic, thus: -

The insignia, discovered within the wrappings of the thighs (256. R. S),
have corresponding sockets, at the back, to slide on to fastenings on
the front of the fillet. The tail of the uraeus being fixed to eyelets over
the centre of the disc at the back. - See note attached and (R. and S.).
