                     Grouping

 

The grouping of these seals is/<was> as 

haphazard as the perfunctory 

manner in which they were done. 

Each seal, or such official with

his seal dabbed a number 

of impressions about the wet surface 

of the plaster, the blank spaces 

being filled up <in> with <impressions of> the last 

employed.
