POSITION:

Thorax: suspended from neck by wire, reaching as far down as 

The umbilicus.

 

DIMENSIONS:

Max. L. 4.80 cents

Gold wire. 42.5 suspension 

(total length 86 cents)

 

DESCRIPTION:

A large black resin scarab, mounted upon gold funda, and

suspended upon gold (beaten) wire.

Inlaid upon elytra a Bennu/bird (Ardea Cinerea - the common

Heron). (See note attached).

REMARKS:

This probably takes the place of the heart-scarab type.
