256, HHH. ḏd-Amulet (Emblem of Osiris).
POSITION:
Neck; <just below junction of left clavicle and breastbone; wire round neck.> Fourth amulet (on left side) of second group
(i.e., FFF, KK, GGG, and HHH.).
DIMENSIONS:
L. 8.8 cents. Wire (total length). 60 cents.
DESCRIPTION:
ḏd-amulet of gold inlaid with plaques of blue faience.
The gold casing of cloisonné type into which the faience is
inlaid. Has eyelet at top for attachment.
It formed the fourth amulet on the extreme left of a/<the second> group
of amulets attached to the neck of the King by gold (beaten)
wires within the linen wrappings.
