256, GGG. Wȝḏ-Amulet
POSITION:
Neck; <over centre of breast bone just below clavicles; wire round neck;> third amulet from right of second group. (i.e., FFF, KK, GGG
and HHH).
DIMENSIONS:
L. 6.3., cents. L. of wire 56 cents (total length).
DESCRIPTION:
Wȝḏ-amulet of gold and green felspar - the green felspar being
let into a gold cloisonné case which forms the amulet.
Was attached to the neck by means of gold (beaten)
wire where it formed the third (from right) amulet a of the
second group of amulets within wrappings of neck.
Has an eyelet at top for attachment
