M^r Callender arrived in morning. Also
Chief inspector of police about the guard
who absconded with the pay of Mickey's
father. M^r C. for walk with H & me after
tea by cultivation. M^r W. went to tea at
M^r Carter's. D^r Hall to lunch on his
way down from Aswan.

M^r Horn called with introduction from
M^rs Gunn - after lunch. Miss Perry laid
up & looking after her. For a drive
to Tombs of the Queens before tea with M^r
& M^rs W. & Harry. Hot & heavy. <Walk after

Miss P. better. Made her ovaltine. The Ws to
