Treated with melted paraffin wax.
Parts of one panel cracked & loose. Took off:

 

 

The dirty amorphous deposit is part occurs particularly 

on the blue faience & on the blue glass.

 

The natural stone inlays on the lid are rough & 

corroded on the surface.

 

Part of the blue faience/<glass> on one panel on lid is has gone 

very dark, almost black
