Dear Carter,

          Many thanks for your letter with

enclosures, and I am very glad that you 

enjoyed your visit to the Greek Islands
so thoroughly.
          I am also very pleased to know that

my report has your approval, and am

obliged to you for your notes relatix[?]/<n>g to

alterations, which I am entering on my copy
of the typed MS.
          You have, no doubt, received the four

sheets, which I sent later:- Cicer (sheet 6a), 
Nigella (16a), Pisum (18a), and one sheet for

alteration of introduction. I find that, on

sheet 18a, I have got ‘Pisum arvense, L.’. Will 

you kindly correct this in your copy?

          There may possibly be one more alteration

required; I will let you know in a day or

two.
