I notice that Asia Minor is comm common 

to Cedrus Libani and the Fraxinus and the 

Betula. In the case of the Quercus and 

those Ulmus, the wood might be that of 

species other than Cerris and nitens, so the 

fact that I have suggested those occurring or 

in Asia Minor does not carry idependent^sic weight.
