Nigella sativa L. [Ranunculaceae]; Gith, or b/<B>lack Cumin.
Seeds of this species are present in one sample.
The plant, which belongs to the same genus as 'Love-in-a-
mist' (N. damascena, L.,/<)>, is cultivated, and occurs in
South Europe, North Africa and Asia Minor.
The seeds have medicinal properties (Tsch., Drag.).
