Wine Jars Continued
Whether wine stored in <porous pottery>[?] Jars such as these would have[?]<be of>
use after two or more years. The breakage that occurred was
probably the result of rough handling when moving the heavy alabaster
vessels that were stacked with them.
They are all of a uniform shape . . .
having large clay seals covering their mouths & necks, which
were bound with rush and bear impressions from seals of the
following device: -
