POSITION:
PECTORAL: Thorax, low right side, suspended from neck.
PENDANT: below nape of neck (see group 4.B/<E>).
DIMENSIONS:
PECTORAL: Max. H. 8.5 cents.; Max. W. 9.0 cents.
Chain: L. 65 cents. = suspension 30 cents.
PENDANT: Max. L. 3.5 cents.
DESCRIPTION:
Solar-hawk with circular spread-wings, supporting on head a solar-
disc (carneleansic) and gold uraeus; holds in talons š-n symbols (gold
inlaid with carneleansic stone and turquoise blue glass).
Body: (i.e. breast and abdomen) of open scale gold-work cage, enclosing
a (?) kind of green stone.
Head, chin and throat plain gold engraved.
Wings: 'Primaries' - lapis lazuli, field between tips of feathers carneleansic.
'Secondaries' - lapis lazuli tipped with carneleansic.
'Alulae' or 'Bastard wings' - as 'Primaries'
'Wing coverts' - lapis lazuli tipped with carneleansic.
'Lesser coverts' - carneleansic.
Tail - Rectrices - chevrons of lapis lazuli and carneleansic alternate.
