The straps are composed of alternate gold and lapis lazuli rectangular
beads having in c/<t>heir centres concentric circles - they are threaded together
upon four threads. The outer edges being bordered with minute gold and
blue glass beads.

The clasp: - comprises two eagles (contiguous), of head resting on
scapulas; of gold finely inlaid with lapis lazuli, felspar, onyx
stone (or ? glass), carneleansic and green glass.
The clasp opens and closes by sliding the two birds upon slot and
tongue provided on/<be>tween the two.
REMARKS:
The present mounting only shows about 50% of the bead-straps
many of the lapis beads having decayed, others their holes blocked up.
