PECTORAL: Thorax; centre, suspended from neck
PECTORAL-CLASP: Under nape of neck (see group 256. 4E.).
DIMENSIONS:
Pectoral: Max. H. 11.5 cents; W. 9.0 cents.
Clasp: H. 5.0 cents.; W. 5.6 cents.
DESCRIPTION:
PECTORAL: Device: Three scarabs of lapis lazuli inlaid, their fore-legs
resting upon a starred <[ 𓂀 ]> (engraved) p-t symbol of heaven and supporting
(centre) the lunar-disc [ 𓂀 ] (ỉʿḥ of ? Thoth), and on R. and L. sides
solar-discs; their posterior-legs rest upon a horizontal bar of 12
marguerites (cut lapis lazuli glass with gold boss centres), and each pair
of legs hold n-b signs (inlaid with green felspar).
Pendant from the horizontal bar are four gold lotus flowers, four large
lotus buds, and six small buds (three missing from decay): the lotus
flowers and larger buds are inlaid with carneleansic, felspar, and dark
blue (lapis lazuli) glass; the three remaining smaller buds are of carneleansic,
their pendant calices of gold.
Back: The p-t symbol and horizontal bar are attached by means of
two (one on each side) gold wȝs-sceptres, modelled and detailed, to which the
