Below the above frieze the whole field is heavily embossed and chased
with a scene of wild animals and plants; the subjects being: -
from top
downwards
a. Young male ibex attacked by a lion from underneath;
b. Male calf galloping with slughi-hound on its back, biting its tail;
c. Adult male ibex attacked by a chetah (tail annulated) on
shoulders and neck, and a lion grappling with the antelope from below,/<(>
upon the shoulder of the lion [ 𓂀 ] rosette./<)>.
d. A galloping bull being attacked by a hin/<hound> from underneath.
e. Young male calf in full retreat.
(Note: the plants, in field between the animals, are treated conventionally -
as ornaments./<)>.
This scenee/<e> terminates at the bottom (point) with a floral
device: -
