256, 4a. Ḏḥwtï-Amulet (Thoth)

 

POSITION:

Neck: Right side; reaching nearly to clavicle; suspended by gold (beaten) wire.

Right amulet of fourth group - 4a, zzz, yyy, xxx and 4b.

 

DIMENSIONS:

H. 5.5. cents. L. wire <attachment> 31 cents (total length of wire 62).

 

DESCRIPTION:

An amulet of [ 𓂀 ] of gold, inlaid with green felspar - (see sketch attached) 

attached to neck by means of gold (beaten) wire. Eyelet for suspension at top. 

Similar detail to front engraved on gold back.
