               scenes in minature painting.
22-78.    A BATTLE SCENE.The scheme of ornamentation here represents
               the King slaughtering Egypt’s Asiatic foes.

23-77.    A HUNTING SCENE. The King is seen in his chariot hunting

               lions and lionesses. Behind him are his fan-bearers, courtiers,

               and body guard.

24-77a.  THE LIONS AND LIONESSES. The sense of movement as well as

                the agonized expression of the <shaft[?] stricken> dying beasts ranks this miniature            
                painting as the finest of its kind.

                 terminating in negroid prisoners.
