& we do not know what there is further.

All the stuff out of the Valley now in the Cairo Museum

(mummies excepted) would not be a quarter of

what is actually in sight now.

The whole thing is so tremendous that it [?]

brightens one & as regards the book it will certainly

mean a thing more like the Cairo Museum Catalogue

than anything yet done. What the opening of

the closed chamber will reveal I dontsic know

but I think it will be stupendous.

Please do all you can for me re restorers[.]

I also thought Carter had thought of Mackay

but today he get/<ot> a report that he had a role[?]

in Cairo. You might tell I. Maxwell

what I have written[.]

I wish you were here[.]

                Yours ever C.
