All the stuff out of the Valley now in the Cairo Museum
(mummies excepted) would not be a quarter of
what is actually in sight now.
The whole thing is so tremendous that it [?]
brightens one & as regards the book it will certainly
mean a thing more like the Cairo Museum Catalogue
than anything yet done. What the opening of

in Cairo. You might tell I. Maxwell
what I have written[.]
I wish you were here[.]
