start. He called for me yesterday, and
seemed to recognize me x[?]/<q>uite well.
This morning he took a turn for
the better; became quite conscious,
and absolutely insisted on being
shaved. And was! And he has
been much better since, though very
far from out of danger.
I shall be oh, so glad to be
home again. I long for it
now and am very tired. Too
tired to write more.
Please if you are in London
do all you can for Mrs.
Davies. I wrote to you about
her exhibition in my last
letter.
