At last t/<T>his afternoon the

lid of the stone sarcophagus

was raised, and for the few

who were privileged to be present

it provided a sensation that

most assuredly they will never

forget.

The removal of the nest

of shrines have presented/<resented>

many an obstacle, obstacles

that at times seemed almost

insurmountable, but within

the last two days the

final sections have been

taken down, and this <today>

arrange(?) the sarcophagus, stood

freed of all its encumbrances

stood/<ands> clear upon the floor

of the sepulchral chamber.

The moment for which we

have waited so long is at

hand, and as we stand within

the tomb.
