White efflorescence from linen wrappings from small child's mummy (317, B(2))
This efflorescence consists largely of common salt, but it contains also a
small proportion of a fatty material (now in the state of fatty acids)
which has a pleasant aromatic smell suggestive of pine (? the so-called
cedar-oil mentioned in Egyptian literature).
