          Fixative for pastels

Dissolve 1 part by weight

of cellulose acetate in

   100 measures of acetone

say 1 gram in 100 c.c

give one coat and when

quite dry give another

coat of the same,

     apply by means of a brush.

    Celluloid in a mixture of equal

volumes of amyl acetate and acetone has

some advantages but cellulose acetate is

                                                 safer
